Christmas is fast approaching there are lots of things happening so please listen out for announcements at bingo in the morning just in case there are any changes. One important change is that the lunchtime now is 12.15pm not 12.00pm.
Now the colder weather is here salads are now off the menu, and we will now be having homemade soup on the menu. We will still be offering alternative’s including, omelettes, & jacket potatoes. Please chat with Deborah & Emma if there is anything you are unable to eat and they will do their best to find an alternative for you. Please make sure you order the correct meal when you arrive as Deborah and Emma will be unable to change this when they are serving lunch. We also have a nice range of homemade cakes, biscuits, plus sweets and chocolate treats. Please Note only Day Centre Drinks can be consumed here, we cannot have people bringing in their own drinks. If there is a drink (non-alcoholic) that you would like to see on the servery please let us know, please do not bring in drinks and ask us to keep behind the Servery, we do have a nice range of cold drinks cartons of juice and water. If you want to order Tea and Cake for your birthday please can you give Deborah & Emma 2 weeks’ notice? We will now NOT be storing any items in the fridge or freezer that have been purchased from the shops as we have had a number of issues that have arisen so please be mindful of this when purchasing your goods.
We are now selling a variety of items on our ‘Sales Trolley’, wrapping paper, sellotape, bingo dabbers, age birthday cards, tissues, deodorants, combs etc., please let us know if you would like to be able to purchase any other items from here and we will do our best to provide them at a very reasonable price.
We have our fantastic entertainment programme Grandads Aloud, oldies and tots sessions 10.30-11.30am, David Caesar, Louise & Otis, Songs of praise, Den and Don, Grandads Aloud and much much more.
Sharon the Mobile Clothes shop will be coming to the centre 10-12pm on Monday 13th November please come and grab yourself a bargain.
We have two shopping trips this month, on Wednesday 15th we will be going to Asda in Farnborough, cost £8 and on Tuesday 28th to Keydell Nurseries Christmas Shop & Winter Wonderland Walk in Horndean Cost £12. (Plus usual minibus charge).You will be responsible for paying for your own lunch .
Saturday 18th November is Farncombe Day Centres Christmas Fair 10.30-12.30pm please come down and support us; we have lots of fabulous stalls come down and do your Christmas Shopping. We are running a free Minibus that day please come and see myself or Wendy to put your names down.
Belinda will be here 10am on Monday 20th November selling Jewellery, great gifts for Christmas.
