The kitchen refurbishment is now coming to an end thank you so much to everyone for your patience. We will back to normal on 7th March please note we will be closed on Monday 6th March so we can clean the centre. We will be having an official kitchen opening on Friday 17th March please come along 1.30-2.30pm refreshments will be provided and the kitchen will be opened by the Mayor. I would also like to welcome Althea our new volunteer doing lunch tickets on a Thursday.

We have now stopped doing salads and homemade soup will be coming back on the winter menu. Don’t forget we also offer alternative’s including, omelettes, & jacket potatoes.  Please chat with Jane or Emma if there is anything you are unable to eat and they will do their best to find an alternative for you. We also have a nice range of homemade cakes, biscuits, plus sweets and chocolate treats. Please Note only Day Centre Drinks can be consumed here, we cannot have people bringing in their own drinks. If there is a drink (non-alcoholic) that you would like to see on the servery please let us know, we do have a nice range of cold drinks cartons of juice and water, and new to the drinks we will now be serving cup a soups please see the sign on servery. If you are wanting to order Tea and Cake for your birthday please can you give Jane 2 weeks’ notice.

We will now NOT be storing any items in the fridge or freezer that have been purchased from the shops as we have had a number of issues that have arisen so please be mindful of this when purchasing your goods.

We are now selling a variety of items on our ‘Sales Trolley’, wrapping paper, sellotape, bingo dabbers, age birthday cards, tissues etc., please let us know if you would like to be able to purchase any other items from here and we will do our best to provide them at a very reasonable price.

 

We have organised for two trips to garden centres one is 9th march to Wyevale garden centre in Pulborough and 22nd March to the Ferry boat inn at Hayling island please see separate poster and book with Annette or Wendy each trip will be £10 per person. We have also organised our programme of events for the year please see posters around.

 

We have David Caesar,Tracey,Den and Don and Songs of praise this month and much much more. We are introducing a change to the afternoon our afternoon Volunteer will be serving Tea from 12.45pm and entertainment will start at 1.30pm and the servery will stay open so if you wish to purchase refreshments after you will be able to. PLEASE NOTE we will be calling morning bingo at 11.30am and announcements after so all users hear.

We have been successful as one of the Co-operative charities so please support us by buying lots of goods, you need to register your Co-Op card online or call 08000234708 and requesting your 1% of your shopping goes to Age Concern Farncombe.

We have only got until the 31st March so please get shopping.
