We have now stopped doing salads and homemade soup will be coming back on the winter menu. Don’t forget we also offer alternatives including, omelettes, & jacket potatoes. Please chat with Jane or Emma if there is anything you are unable to eat and they will do their best to find an alternative for you. We also have a nice range of homemade cakes, biscuits, plus sweets and chocolate treats. Please Note only Day Centre Drinks can be consumed here, we cannot have people bringing in their own drinks. If there is a drink (non-alcoholic) that you would like to see on the servery please let us know, we do have a nice range of cold drinks cartons of juice and water, and new to the drinks we will now be serving cup a soups please see the sign on servery. We are also doing filled rolls or sandwiches, scones with Clotted cream and Jam and cheese and biscuits to TAKEAWAY . They will need to be ordered the day before you require them, and the Kitchen staff will freshly prepare them ready for you to take home the following day.

We will now NOT be storing any items in the fridge or freezer that have been purchased from the shops as we have had a number of issues that have arisen so please be mindful of this when purchasing your goods.

We are now selling a variety of items on our ‘Sales Trolley’, wrapping paper, sellotape, bingo dabbers, age birthday cards, tissues etc., please let us know if you would like to be able to purchase any other items from here and we will do our best to provide them at a very reasonable price.

Musical NoteWe have some exciting events happening this month: we have 5th November our Christmas Fair 11-1pm, 10th November National Vanilla Cupcake day, 11th November we will be having a minutes silence for Remembrance Day, 21st November National Stuffing Day and 30th November it is National Mousse Day. We have our fantastic Entertainment programme Ellen and Friends Choir, Den and Don, John Bearman Accordionist, Seated Exercise, Songs of praise and Skills and Games and much much more. It takes a large amount of work for us to organise entertainment and we will be coming around asking what entertainment you would like as it takes a large amount of money out of our budget and it seems that a majority of you do not wish to join in or partake in activities which is a waste, so we would appreciate it if everyone stays in the lounge for the duration of the entertainment and the servery will not open until 2-2.15pm.

We have been successful as one of the Co-operative charities so please support us by buying lots of goods, you need to register your Co-Op card online or call 08000234708 and requesting your 1% of your shopping goes to Age Concern Farncombe.

Thank you to everyone that came and supported the Quiz night we raise £270.20 and had a fun evening.

I would like to thank Waitrose in Godalming for their kind donation of a hamper for Christmas Fair, Squires for garden centre voucher, Tesco in Haslemere for their voucher and Co-Op in Milford for their prize. Also to thank Godalming Junior, Loseley Fields, Rocking Horse Nursery and Little Lanes preschool for all the harvest festival goodies you provided us with. Rememberance Poppy Lest We Forget
