Halloween Month can’t believe it has arrived so quickly and sadly the cold weather is following.

We welcome Louise our new care assistant to the team and some new users to the centre, so please introduce yourselves and say hello to welcome them in, when new users start to the centre it can be overwhelming for them it doesn’t take a moment just to say hello.

Now the cold weather is here salads are now off the menu and homemade soup will be back on, we will still be offering alternative’s including, omelettes, & jacket potatoes.  Please chat with Deborah & Emma if there is anything you are unable to eat and they will do their best to find an alternative for you. Please make sure you order the correct meal when you arrive as Deborah and Emma will be unable to change this when they are serving lunch. We also have a nice range of homemade cakes, biscuits, plus sweets and chocolate treats. Please Note only Day Centre Drinks can be consumed here, we cannot have people bringing in their own drinks. If there is a drink (non-alcoholic) that you would like to see on the servery please let us know, please do not bring in drinks and ask us to keep behind the Servery, we do have a nice range of cold drinks, hot drinks (Tea, Coffee, Cappuchinos,Horlicks, Bovril and cartons of juice and water. PLEASE NOTE THE SERVERY WILL BE CLOSED 12-1PM EVERY DAY. If you want to order Tea and Cake for your birthday please can you give Deborah & Emma 2 weeks’ notice? We will now NOT be storing any items in the fridge or freezer that have been purchased from the shops as we have had a number of issues that have arisen so please be mindful of this when purchasing your goods.

We are now selling a variety of items on our ‘Sales Trolley’, wrapping paper, sellotape, bingo dabbers, age birthday cards, tissues, deodorants, combs etc., please let us know if you would like to be able to purchase any other items from here and we will do our best to provide them at a very reasonable price.

We have our entertainment programme, Card Bingo, Carpet Bowls, Quizzes and much much more.

On Tuesday 16th October we have an outing to the Drummond in Albury (Hughie’s Pub) if you would like to go please come and put your name down in the office.

On Wednesday 17th October we have Sharon from mobile fashions here 10am-12pm, come and grab yourself a bargain.

Also on Wednesday 17th October we have the sight for surrey sensory bus at 10am.

 

On Wednesday 24th October we have a shopping trip to the Range at Chichester if you would like to go please come in and book in the office.

On Friday 26th October we have our Quiz Night, Fish and Chips,Raffle,Quiz Master it is a great fun evening starting at 7.30pm and raises a lot of money for the centre to enable us to put on trips for you all.

On Wednesday 31st October we will be doing a Halloween themed lunch with games and some sweet treats involved to, it will be a £5 special so will need to be booked and paid for in the office.

We are busy planning our Christmas Fair, which is on 17th November and would like any donations of the following: Raffle & Tombola Prizes, good as new gifts, sweets, drinks,

(Unfortunately we are unable to accept tins of food i.e. soup, vegetables, beans etc.)
