This month we welcome Deborah Grove to our team as our new cook on 11th October she will introduce herself no doubt but pop and say hello and introduce yourself.

Now the colder weather is here salads are now off the menu, and we will now be having homemade soup on the menu. We will still be offering alternative’s including, omelettes, & jacket potatoes.  Please chat with Deborah & Emma if there is anything you are unable to eat and they will do their best to find an alternative for you. Please make sure you order the correct meal when you arrive as Deborah and Emma will be unable to change this when they are serving lunch. We also have a nice range of homemade cakes, biscuits, plus sweets and chocolate treats. Please Note only Day Centre Drinks can be consumed here, we cannot have people bringing in their own drinks. If there is a drink (non-alcoholic) that you would like to see on the servery please let us know, we do have a nice range of cold drinks cartons of juice and water. If you want to order Tea and Cake for your birthday please can you give Deborah &  Emma 2 weeks’ notice? We will now NOT be storing any items in the fridge or freezer that have been purchased from the shops as we have had a number of issues that have arisen so please be mindful of this when purchasing your goods.

We are now selling a variety of items on our ‘Sales Trolley’, wrapping paper, sellotape, bingo dabbers, age birthday cards, tissues, deodorants, combs etc., please let us know if you would like to be able to purchase any other items from here and we will do our best to provide them at a very reasonable price.

 

We have our fantastic entertainment programme Susie Drage, Graham King, Claire Dawson, Songs of praise, Halloween Activities & Den and Don and much much more. Please be aware that the Entertainment can change so please listen for updates at morning bingo.

We are the Mayors Charity this year & we are joining him for his Quiz Night on Friday 20th October at 7.30pm as all proceeds are split between us and Moss Lane school, there will be a hog roast and a raffle. It will be £10 a ticket please come and support it, at Wilfred Noyce Centre, Godalming.

 

Thursday 19th October we will be doing a trip to Squires Garden Centre in Milford if you would like to go please come and see myself or Wendy.

 

We will be having a Jungle Themed party on Wednesday 1st November, we will have a themed lunch and entertainment, tickets for Day Centre Users will be £3.00 and for non-users £3.50 for tickets please come and see myself or Wendy. The party will be 10am-3pm; lunch will be served at 12pm.

 

Just to let you all know that the old £1 coins will not be accepted here from 15th October so please ensure you use them up.
